About This Project

The goal of this project was to reimagine the home page experience for a glasses e-commerce platform. The previous design was outdated, overly long, and inconsistent across desktop and mobile, with key information and components missing or misaligned.

Hero Section

I redesigned the hero section to create a cleaner, more engaging first impression.
By adding a video component, I brought the collection to life while removing unnecessary elements that cluttered the fold.
I also reduced the hero’s height to make key content more accessible without scrolling.

Featured Brands & Frames

I redesigned this section to highlight our top frames and brands with more visually appealing, clickable cards.
Adding a prominent “Live Try-On” button—proven to drive high conversion—was a key priority to improve engagement and shopping flow.

Category Section

I reorganized the categories to make them clearer and more intuitive for users.
Using data on the most-searched categories, I structured them in a logical hierarchy for easier navigation.
I also featured our AI Quiz as a large, video-driven component to showcase its value and encourage usage, leveraging its high conversion rate.

Collections Section

I redesigned this section to showcase collections and collaborations in a carousel format, allowing users to preview multiple frames at a glance.
By highlighting actual frames rather than relying solely on marketing visuals, users can better evaluate if a collection matches their style.

Social Proof

I introduced an animated carousel of customer quotes sourced from Trustpilot to highlight genuine feedback.
Additionally, I integrated user-generated content from Instagram, showcasing real customers who tagged us and shared positive experiences.
Placing this section at the bottom of the page reinforces trust and leaves users with the strongest form of social proof: real people who love the product.
